Richard to Captain Chile in place of the Injured Soto

Javier Richard will captain Chile in place of the injured Benjamín Soto. Los Còndores Head Coach Bernard Charreyre confirmed that the COBS flanker will lead his country in match two against South Korea.

Soto left the field prematurely on Sunday. His injury has ruled him out of Saturday’s match at the Old Grangonian Club. His place in the starting lineup will go to Cristóbal Niedmann.

Also ruled out of game two is hooker Manuel Gurruchaga. His place in the starting lineup will go to Tomás Dussaillant. The final change sees Beltrán Vergara replacing Juan Pablo Perrotta at scrum half.

Changes to the replacements see Iñaki Gurruchaga coming in for Álvaro Ide and Eduardo Orpis for Niedmann as back row reserve. Pedro Verschae and Pablo Casas take over from Jorge Castillo and Matías Contreras in the backs.
