Uruguay XV Remain Unbeaten in Campeonato Argentino

The Uruguay XV remain unbeaten in the Campeonato Argentino. After three rounds Uruguay’s official ‘A’ side has three bonus point victories to lead the competition.

The Uruguay XV won away to Lagos on Saturday. The convincing 45-3 victory sees the Bariloche-based side remaining winless so far this season. For the Uruguayans the victory was telling. Not only was it their best performance but it was also an away triumph.

The match was played at the Club Pehuenes de Bariloche, some 1870km from Montevideo. Next weekend Uruguay will play against a team from equally far away. Their opponents are to be the southern province of Chubut. The Uruguay XV will host the Patagonia side in Montevideo on Saturday.

# Team Points
1 Uruguay XV 15
2 San Juan 9
3 Chubut 9
4 Santiago del Estero 6
5 Oeste 5
6 Lagos 0
