Hernández, Matera and Moyano Return for Pumas

Juan Martín Hernández, Pablo Matera and Ramiro Moyano all return for Los Pumas. The trio have been named to start against Wales in Saturday’s test match in Cardiff.

The match will be Daniel Hourcade’s 37th as Head Coach. It is his thitrd time coaching at the Millennium Stadium. In 2013 Los Pumas played their second test under Hourcade at the ground. They returned there last October where they faced Ireland in a World Cup Quarter Final.

Remarkably all test matches have had the same two scrum halves – Martín Landajo and Tomás Cubelli. Landajo will start this Saturday. He will play inside Nicolás Sánchez who score 29 points against Japan.

The return of Hernández will give Argentina greater dimension to their attacking game. He will play in the centers together with Matías Orlando. The same combination was used for the win over South Africa in Salta.

Getting an opportunity on the left wing against Wales will be Ramiro Moyano. He comes in for Santiago Cordero. Moyano had a strong performance from the bench against Japan and also played well against Australia in the recent international in London.

The only change to the pack sees Tomás Lezana making way for Matera. Lezana and Leonardo will both feature from the bench. This will give Hourcade two replacement back-rowers. Javier Ortega Desio will cover second-rower if required.
