Wales Add Keelan Giles to Prepare for Pumas

Wales’ preparation for Argentina has taken a further hit. Having played against Australia this past Saturday, Dragons winger Hallam Amos has been ruled out of facing los Pumas.

Amos was a 60th minute replacement for George North. He picked up a shoulder injury against the Wallabies which has seen his spot on the roster go to Keelan Giles. Aged just 19, Giles has been a sensation for the Ospreys this season scoring 8 tries in just 5 matches. Should he play he would earn his first cap at senior level.

Giles is the third player called up following Saturday’s match. He joins the Cardiff Blues pairing of Cory Allen and Tomos Williams. All three players are in contention to face Argentina this coming Saturday at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
