Uruguay XV Make it Two from Two in Campeonato Argentino

The second round of the Campeonato Argentino took place on Saturday. It saw the Uruguay XV making it two from two as they defeated Oeste 43-27.

The Uruguay XV is seeking promotion to play at the elite level. Last season the club narrowing missed out but has started this year’s campaign very well. More wins and the team will continue to press to rise to the second division A.

At the elite level Cuyo backed-up an opening round win over Tucumán by drawing 36-36 against Buenos Aires. The two results confirm Cuyo as being a genuine dark horse for the national provincial title.
