Argentina Announces Venues for England in June 2017

The Unión Argentina de Rugby has announced the venues for home games against England in June 2017. Los Pumas will have two home internationals against the leading European side and will also play a third home match against Georgia.

The two-match series against England will see Los Pumas playing in Santa Fé and San Juan. On June 10 the Estadio Brigadier Estanislao López will host the first fixture while the Estadio del Bicentenario will host the second on June 17.

Both venues have played host to Pumas test matches in the past. Earlier this year Argentina faced Italy in Santa Fé. Los Pumas won 30-24. The most recent home fixture in San Juan was in 2013 with Argentina defeating Georgia 29-18.

New ground will be broken in 2017 with England playing in both locations for the first time. Los Pumas have hosted ten prior matches against England. Eight of these matches have been played in Buenos Aires. The remaining two were played in Salta in 2009 and 2013.
