Americas Players in RFU Championship – Week 8

It’s another slow week for Americas players in the Greene King IPA Championship, made ever slower by a few resting ahead of international duty for the November test series. That means only five players from Argentina, Canada, and the USA will be in action on Saturday.

Argentine prop Nacho Sáenz Lancuba returns to the Ealing lineup at loosehead to face Rotherham Titans at Vallis Way. His countryman Nicolás de Battista is given a slight break this week having been named on the bench for Cornish Pirates for their trip to Jersey. Brett Beukeboom and Matt Evans each have the week off before the big test against Ireland for Canada next weekend.

Justin Blanchet lines up on the blindside flank for Bedford Blues as they host Rotherham Titans, with the last two players both at the Athletic Ground in Richmond. USA midfielder Ronnie McLean wears no12 for the home team while Aaron Carpenter will provide back row cover for London Welsh before reporting to the Canada camp in Dublin.
