Samuel arrives with experience to his name. Previous coaches roles include being the Technical Assistant of the Black Ferns (New Zealand women’s team) and Head Coach of the women’s team of provincial side Waikato.

Samuel told the CBRu “I am very excited with this opportunity. The experience of working and living in another country, with a different culture, will be something that will change my life. I already know that they are working hard and my role will be to take the sport to a new stage“.

In leaving the role, Jacob Mangin takes on a new position with the CBRu. He is to now join the Technical Department as assistant for the senior side.
