Stade Français sign Benjamín Espinal as Medical Joker

Stade Français have signed Benjamín Espinal as a Medical Joker. Joining from Belgrano Athletic, the 25-year-old is the second Argentine tighthead prop to sign to play in Europe today. Earlier Felipe Arregui was confirmed as joining Edinburgh.

Benjamín Espinal will have his first opportunity as a professional player. He has been signed by the Gonzalo Quesada coached Stade Français who require additional front row options. Espinal won the URBA Top 14 Final last weekend. Starting at tighthead he helped end a 48-year drought to win the title. The 25-10 win over Hindú will long be remembered.
