Tonight in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh will welcome Benetton Treviso. Former Canadian Head Coach Kieran Crowley is missing ten players. One of them is Canadian Robert Barbieri who is capped by Italy.
The first of two Welsh debies this weekend will take place this evening The Ospreys play host to the Cardiff Blues. Playing right wing for the Swansea-based region will be Jeff Hassler. The Cardiff Blues will have a North American winger of their own albeit an Eagle. Blaine Scully will start on the right wing. Cam Dolan will feature as a replacement.
In western Ireland a derby will see Connacht take-on Ulster in today’s remaining fixture. The USA eligible Callum Black will start for Ulster at loose-head prop. Former Canadian age-grade representative, Shane O’Leary will fdeature from the bench for Connacht.
In Parma, Italy Zebre will take-on the 2015 champions, the Glasgow Warriors. Former Argentine loose-head prop, Bruno Postiglioni has been named on the bench. A shoulder injury sees Eagles second-rower Greg Peterson missing out. Canadian Djustice Sears-Duru will feature for the Scots as a replacement.
The round will come to a close with the second Welsh derby. The Scarlets will have home advantage in west Wales against the Newport Gwent Dragons. Starting in Llanelli will be DTH van der Merwe. The Canadian flier made a solid come back from injury last weekend, scoring a try.
