A host of players from the Americas are to play in the Aviva Premiership this weekend. Week 6 of the English league will have some interesting battles at both ends of the ladder.
Friday’s one match will see Bath at home to the Sale Sharks. When considering their performances in 2015/16 both sides have enjoyed strong starts to the season. Starting at flyhalf for Sale will be AJ MacGinty.
In the south-west England the Exeter Chiefs will have home advantage against Gloucester. Featuring for the visitors will be Mariano Galarza. The veteran of two Rugby World Cups has made an astonishing 24 tackles last weekend against Bath.
Los Pumas will be taking on Australia at Twickenham on Saturday. Next door at the stoop the Harlequins will play host to Northampton. Starting for the London club will be Marland Yarde. The English winger was born in the Caribbean nation of St. Lucia.
Having started inconsistently the Leicester Tigers are searching for a big home win on Saturday. They welcome the Worcester Warriors to Welford Road. Starting at loosehead prop for the Tigers will be Marcos Ayerza.
The Newcastle Falcons host Bristol in what, pre-season, appeared to be a relegation battle. But with the Falcons playing well the club is far from being in trouble. The same is not true of the winless Bristol. Canadian Evan Olmstead and Argentine Juan Pablo Socino will both start for Newcastle while Belisario Agulla is to be a replacement. Gastón Cortes will be on Bristol’s bench.
The final match this weekend will be the only game on Sunday. Saracens play host to the Wasps in a match which is no longer a Greater London derby. Starting in the backline for the home side will be Marcelo Bosch and Chris Wyles. Juan Figallo makes his first start of 2016/17 at tighthead while Titi Lamositele covers loosehead as a reserve in what will be his first Premiership appearance of the season.
