Brazil to face Portugal in Coimbra, Germany in Heidelberg and Leipzig

Brazil will play against Portugal in Coimbra and Germany in Leipzig, the CBRu has confirmed. Brazil will play three end-of-year matches in Europe. The tour will serve as preparation for the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship.

The matches are to be played on November 19 and 26 against Germany and December 01 against Portugal. Germany will host os Tupis in Heidelberg and Leipzig while Portugal will do so in Coimbra.

In December 2015 Brazil hosted Germany for a two match tour. Played in Blumenau and São Paulo the Central Europeans won both matches.

The one previous test match between Brazil and Portugal took place in 2013. With it having been played in São Paulo December’s test match will be Brazil’s first away match against the Portuguese.
