Colombian Andrés Zafra included in Lyon Roster for Europe

Colombian Andrés Zafra Tarazona has been named in Lyon’s roster for the European Challenge Cup. The  20-year-old is now on the verge of becoming his country’s first ever player to play European rugby.

The 110kg and 1,95m second-rower joined Lyon from Colombia ahead of the 2016-2017 Top 14 season. This makes him Colombia’s first ever athlete to be play in France.

Zafra Tarazona will join two former Pumas in Lyon’s squad for the Challenge Cup. Scrum-half Agustín Figuerola and tight-head prop Francisco Gomez Kodela will help the highly promising Colombian.
