Americas Players in RFU Championship – Week 5

Ciaran Hearn will make his Greene King IPA Championship debut when London Irish travel to Lady Bay to play Nottingham on Friday. The Canadian midfielder has recovered from a minor Achilles strain that kept him on the sidelines for the first four weeks of the season. His compatriot Jebb Sinclair took part in training this week but won’t be seeing game time quite yet.

Bedford Blues host Richmond at Goldington Road in one of five matches on Saturday. Justin Blanchet is retained on the blindside flank. USA center Ronnie McLean will wear no12 for the visitors, still looking for their first win of the season in their new division. Meanwhile Argentine prop Ignacio Sáenz Lancuba is recalled to the Ealing side to play Doncaster at Trailfinders Sports Club.

Brett Beukeboom, Matt Evans, and Nicolás de Battista travel with Cornish Pirates to play London Scottish at the Athletic Ground. The trio have started the season in fine form with Pirates undefeated in their opening four matches. Aaron Carpenter has been left out of the London Welsh lineup for the Old Deer Park match against Jersey.
