Pumas to Play for French Barbarians vs Australia in November?

A number of Pumas may play for the French Barbarians this November. The French Barbarians will play host to Australia on November 21 at the Stade Chaban Delmas in Bordeaux.

The soon to be confirmed international is to fall in between Australia’s November Internationals against France and Ireland. It is to be the first match between the sides since November 2004.

The French Barbarians last played in June 2015. They played two matches against Argentina, doing so in Rosario and La Plata. Involved in those matches was former Puma Benjamin Urdapilleta.

The Castres fly half may well be recalled this year. He is one of a number of prospective Argentine players who could play for the team. Horacio Agulla, Manuel Carizza, Patricio Fernández and Juan Imhoff are all potentially strong candidates.
