Djustice Sears-Duru is set to make his Guinness Pro 12 debut for Glasgow Warriors on Friday evening. The Canadian prop has been named as a reserve for the match against the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade. Glasgow currently sit just one spot ahead of the Dragons on the Pro 12 log but lead the Welsh side by 7 points after four weeks played.
Also on Friday Connacht will host Edinburgh at the Sportsground with Shane O’Leary again on the replacements bench. The defending champions have endured a difficult start to the new season with no points from three completed games, and will view their match against Edinburgh as a must-win. Edinburgh meanwhile will arrive with a new coach as Alan Solomons resigned during the week. Former Scotland international Duncan Hodge has been promoted to the top spot in a trial capacity.
Teams for the four Saturday matches have yet to be named. Zebre travel to Munster with Argentine pair Bruno Postiglioni and Guillermo Roan both likely to find spots on the bench. Canadians Tyler Ardron and Jeff Hassler should feature for Ospreys against Ulster at Kingspan Stadium.
Cardiff Blues have Blaine Scully and Cam Dolan on their books with Scully the most like Eagles rep to take part against Leinster at the Arms Park. Benetton Treviso host Scarlets at Stadio Monigo in the final match of the weekend. Robert Barbieri has yet to feature for Treviso this season but DTH van der Merwe is set to resume duties after recovering from illness.
