USA v Tonga Headed to Spain

It appears as if the USA’s Fall Tour match against Tonga has found a home in Spain. Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian will play host to the Eagle’s November 19th match against Tonga. The stadium, built in 1993, has a capacity just over 30,000 and has been used in the past by French Pro 14 side Biarritz for Heineken Cup matches.

The USA has three matches on tap for this Fall, only two of which are full test matches. The Eagles open up November against Maori All Blacks at Toyota Park in Chicago. The squad then heads overseas to take on Romania in Bucharest on November 12th.

The Eagles currently stand with an even 3-3 record in test matches in 2016, Head Coach John Mitchell’s first year at the helm of the USA.
