Tough Draw for Argentina in 2017 Junior World Championship

World Rugby has released the match schedule for next year’s Junior World Championship. The global under 20 event will be played in the Georgian cities of Tbilisi and Kutaisi in May and June.

Los Pumitas will open their account against none other than the host nation of Georgia. The May 31 fixture will be one of six matches on the day. Argentina’s pool rivals France and South Africa will square-off in another fixture that afternoon.

The demanding scheduled will require smart and effective player management. The match dates are the same for all competitors. On June 04 Argentina will face France and on June 08 Los Pumitas will finish their pool play against South Africa.

The play-off’s will follow with the Semi Finals scheduled for June 13 and the finals for June 18. In the 2016 edition of the tournament Argentine made history by finishing third. Los Pumitas defeated France, Japan and South Africa to win Pool C but lost against Ireland in the Semi Finals. A strong final match saw a second win over South Africa to claim third place.
