Video: Córtes Scores His First Try in Aviva Premiership

Argentine prop Gastón Córtes scored his first try in the Aviva Premiership yesterday. The four-time capped Puma scored Bristol’s third and final try of their away match against the Wasps in Coventry.

While it was a moment of personal satisfaction for the Córdoba prop the match itself is one that Bristol will not remember fondly. The West Country side was hammered, losing 70-22. The heavy defeat may well be a warning sign for last season’s second division winners.

After three rounds of the Aviva Premiership Bristol are bottom of the table with just one competition point. One point ahead of them are the Worcester Warriors, another club yet to win a match after three weeks of the season. Bristol host the Exeter Chiefs in week 4.
