Americas Players in RFU Championship – Week 3

It’s a slow week for Americas players in the Greene King IPA Championship, with only six in total featuring across the six games played on Saturday and Sunday. Among the missing are Canadian quartet Jebb Sinclair, Ciaran Hearn, Aaron Carpenter, and Tyler Hotson.

There is a return for Justin Blanchet, the flanker named as a reserve for Bedford Blues against visiting London Irish after recovering from a knock that kept him out of last week’s game. US Eagles midfielder Ronnie McLean starts for Richmond as they host Doncaster Knights, and Argentine prop Ignacio Sáenz Lancuba continues at loosehead for Ealing who welcome Jersey Reds to Trailfinders Sports Club.

The other three will all pitch up for Cornish Pirates who travel to Lady Bay to take on Nottingham. Brett Beukeboom starts in the second row and fellow Canadian Matt Evans is on the left wing. Nicolás de Battista has started his season in good form after arriving from Argentina in the summer. He continues to wear the no12 shirt for Pirates in the only Sunday game this week.
