Argentine u20 Stars to play for Los Pumas 7s

21 players will begin training for the 2016-2017 Rugby Sevens season, the UAR has confirmed. Starting on Monday September 21 the players will train at Hindú Club in Buenos Aires. The three day camp will be directed by Los Pumas 7s Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora.

Gómez Cora has been the bridge from under 20s to Los Pumas in the past. Players such as Santiago Cordero, Jerónimo de la Fuente and Matías Moroni are all cases in point. Now another group of young players are looking for their opportunity.

Included in the 21-man roster are a host of players to have featured in the 2016 Junior World Championship in England. They are José Barros Sosa, Vicente Boronat, Juan Cruz Mallía, Julián Domínguez,  Santiago Mare, Domingo Miotti, Matías Osadzcuk, Mariano Romanini and Conrado Roura.

Los Pumas 7s offers them, and others, the chance at higher honors. As the past suggests selection for Los Pumas and Los Jaguares are both entirely plausible.
