The governing body of rugby in Uruguay, the URU have unveiled a new major sponsor for Los Teros and have released the team’s new uniforms.
As displayed below the URU has three new uniforms. They are shown in the order of ranking as outlined by the URU. The shirt on the far left will be used as the official home uniform. The second uniform is to be the official away shirt while the third is the uniform that is to be worn by Uruguay ‘A’ and Los Teros 7’s. Uruguay ‘A’ will be in action next month in the Americas Pacific Challenge.
The first and second uniforms will be used by Los Teros in November. Uruguay will embark on an historic three-match tour of Europe. The tour will see Los Teros playing away matches against Germany, Romania and Spain.
Also confirmed today in Montevideo is that Renault Uruguay is now a major sponsor of Los Teros. The car manufacturer joins a growing list of financial backers for Uruguayan rugby. Directv and Antel continue on as main sponsors with their names appearing on the new shirts. Scotia Bank is listed as an Official Sponsor.
