French Club Signs Argentine Prop

French second division club, Bourgoin have announced the arrival of Argentine prop Nicolás Mirande. The 26 year old tighthead joins from the famous Tucumán Rugby Club where he has played on both sides of the scrum.

In signing for Bourgoin Mirande will be returning to France. In August 2015 he joined Racing 92 as a medical joker.

Standing in at 1.90 meters and weighing 121kg Mirande has the physique to succeed in the Pro D2. While being uncapped he has previous experience playing for the Argentina XV. He came through the PladAR system and played for Argentina’s ‘A’ side including in the 2015 Nations Cup in Romania.
