Teros to Play November Internationals in Frankfurt, Malaga and Bucharest

The venues have been confirmed for Uruguay’s end-of-year tour. Los Teros will play three tests in November, one each against Germany, Spain and Romania.

The three match tour will begin on Saturday November 24 and conclude fourteen days later. The historic tour sees Uruguay at last receiving a Tier 2 oriented tour. It is to be Uruguay’s first ever three match tour in the November Internationals window.

Of the three opponents Romania is going to be the most demanding. Having played in every Rugby World Cup Romania has been a Tier 2 rugby nation since the terminology was forged. Currently ranked 16th in the world, Romania could realistically be ranked in the world’s top 15 with wins in November.

Ranked 19th, Uruguay will be the underdog against Romania but not so against Germany or Spain. The Germans are currently ranked 26th in the world, three places below Spain.

Date Fixture Venue
Saturday November 12 Germany vs Uruguay Frankfurt
Saturday November 19 Spain vs Uruguay Málaga
Saturday November 26 Romania vs Uruguay Bucharest
