Uruguay Confirm 2016 November Internationals

The URU has confirmed Los Teros’ November Internationals match schedule. The number four ranked country from the Americas will embark on a three match tour playing one test in each of Germany, Spain and Romania.

The tour is to be a genuine opportunity for Esteban Meneses’ players to test themselves over three consecutive weekends against different opposition. All three play in the Six Nations ‘B’ competition, the European Nations Cup. Romania has appeared in all Rugby World Cups and Spain did so in 1999.

First up, though, will be a match at a yet to be determined location against Germany. The match will take place on November 12. Seven days later Los Teros will face Spain also at a yet to be confirmed venue. The third test will be at the Stadionul Arcul de Triumf against Romania in Bucharest on November 26.

On the two weekends prior to Uruguay facing Romania both the USA and Canada will play against the Eastern Europeans. All three test matches will be played at the same bench in Bucharest.
