Costa Rica women’s club Wák RC return home from El Salvador as winners of the MRC Sevens series. Played at the Escuela Militar Capitán General Gerardo Barrios seven teams from the Central American republics of El Salvador, Costa Rica and Guatemala competed.
Wák RC enjoyed a solid campaign from start to finish. Impressive wins over San Salvador RC, Maquilishuat B and Quetzales as the club qualify for the Semi Finals. There Wák RC took on Guatemalan side Wakax before setting up a rematch against Quetzales in the final.
With a 21-0 win over Quetzales Wák RC were crowned champions.
