Mérida to face Alcatráz in Venezuela Final

In a repeat of 2015, clubs Mérida RC and Alcatráz RC will meet in the Venezuelan Grand Final. Taking place this coming Sunday, Mérida will host the final.

Alcatráz earned their place in the Grand Final by defeating the Nómadas 56-7. Mérida RC had a much tougher match and saw off the Zulianos 26-21.

The 2016 Grand Final will be played at the Parque Eco Wild in Mérida. Kick-off is scheduled for 11am on Sunday July 31.
