Contepomi’s Promote Rugby Top Academy in Uruguay

The Contepomi Twins, Felipe and Manuel are working together on a rugby project in Uruguay. Together the Rugby World Cup 2007 Bronze winners launched the “Renault Rugby Top Academy” on Wednesday in Montevideo.

Manuel Contepomi says ”it is to be the first rugby academy in the region”. He contends that it is a model that already exists in countries including Australia, France and New Zealand.

This will enable the youth to have an opportunity like never before. The participants will be divided into two age groups: 9-12 and 14-19.

The new venture will take place at Carrasco Polo club from October 21-23.
