Colombia to Play Two Tour Matches in Argentina

Colombia’s national men’s rugby team, Los Tucanes are to play two tour matches in Argentina this month. FECO confirmed the objective of the tour is face rivals of a relevant level and to test new players that are in consideration for international duty this year.

Los Tucanes are looking to defend their South American B Championship title. Following Paraguay’s promotion they won back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015. Unlike the past two years the 2016 edition will also serve as Rugby World Cup qualification.

Colombia’s tour of Argentina will see matches played on July 22 and 30. The matches will take place in La Plata and Morón against La Plata RC and Los Matreros.
