The Federación Ecuatoriana de Rugby (Ecuador Rugby Federation – FER) has signed an agreement with the Misión Alianza de Noruega (Norway Mission Alliance) to take rugby to vulnerable sectors. The project will spread rugby to poor regions of northwest Guayaquil, as a healthy alternative to alcohol and drug consumption.

We want to create healthy environments for the children and teens, and we believe that rugby will help us in this sense.”

Gutiérrez went on to explain that the explicó que el agreement is to start in 2016 and will run until 2020.
