Joaquín Díaz Bonilla Joins Jaguares Training

Joaquín Díaz Bonilla has joined Jaguares training ahead of Saturday’s Super Rugby match against the Bulls. The Buenos Aires based franchise will play host to the South Africans at Velez Sarsfield on Saturday evening.

With both Juan Martín Hernández and Santiago González Iglesias out of action thorugh injury an opportunity has presented itself for Díaz Bonilla. Aged 27 the Hindú Club fly half is uncapped but has overtaken others this year and, in doing so, started for the Argentina XV in the Nations Cup.

Díaz Bonilla came through the Argentine junior program. In 2009 he played for Los Pumitas before playing for Los Pumas 7’s from 2011-2015. He is now providing back-up to Nicolás Sánchez for the Argentine Super Rugby side. Should be feature against the Bulls it would be his professional debut.
