Geoffrey Palis Ruled out of Argentina Tour

French preparations for taking on Los Pumas have suffered a set-back with Geoffrey Palis having been ruled out of the Argentina tour. The Castres fullback is to return home and miss Les Bleus two test matches in Tucumán.

Suffering knee problems, Palis has been released by Head Coach Guy Noves whose options have now been limited. His specialist fullback options include Huge Bonneval (Stade Français) and Maxime Médard (Toulouse) while winger Djibril Camara (Stade Français) is a distant possibility.

No replacement has been called for which means the Top 14’s leading point scorer, Gaëtan Germain (Brive) is set to remain uncapped with Noves preferring alternative options.
