Jules Plisson to Captain France vs Argentina

Stade Français fly half Jules Plisson is to captain France vs Argentina in Tucumán, the French press has confirmed. The 24 year old will lead his country in the absence of regular captain Guilhem Guirado who is involved in the Top 14 Semi Finals with Toulon.

In being named captain Plisson will captain Les Bleus from fly half, thereby being preferred to play pivot ahead of François Trinh-Duc.

Toulouse second-rower Yoann Maestri had been widely speculated to lead France in Tucumán but he is not fully fit and, actually, played against Racing 92 this past Saturday with a fracture.
