Hourcade Takes Herrera and Larrague to Tucumán

Argentina Head Coach Daniel Hourcade has named a 28-man roster for the two upcoming home internationals against France in Tucumán.

Los Pumas are to travel north to Tucumán tomorrow to play tests on Sunday June 19 and Saturday June 25. Up for grabs in the two-match series will be the Copa ICBC which is to be a part of the celebratory festivals commemorating two-hundred years of Argentine independence.

The roster includes the return of Ramiro Herrera and Tomás Lavanini from suspension with the former free to play both test matches and the latter able to play in the second. Without Lavanini Guido Petti is set to be partnered by the uncapped Ignacio Larrague who flew home from Romania to be with the team., doing so in place of the injured Matías Alemanno.

Larrague is one of four non-Jaguares players traveling to Tucumán. The other three are Brumbies scrum half Tomás Cubelli and front-rower Facundo Bosch and Enrique Pieretto. Both front-rowers have Super Rugby experience with Los Jaguares but are not on full-time contracts with the UAR.
