Canada vs Japan June 11 2016 – Full Match

Canada got their three-match home June Internationals series underway this past weekend by playing host to Asia’s top rugby nation, Japan. Played at BC Place in Vancouver the teams put on an enthralling contest with both having the opportunity of coming out on top.

The fixture was the only match between the teams this month and Japan’s only appearance in North America. Japan will now play host to Scotland in two test matches on the Asian side of the North Pacific Ocean.

The Canadians, meanwhile, are preparing to play host to Russia at Calgary Rugby Park this coming Saturday. It is the first of two test matches for Russia in North America this month and sees a changing format with the 2016 Pacific Nations Cup strictly being a Pacific Island competition.
