Toulon Set to Sign Sevens Star Axel Müller

Hot news coming out of France is that Los Pumas Sevens star Axel Müller has signed for Toulon to play in the Top 14. The French rugby bible Midi Olympique has confirmed the upcoming transfer with the Olympics-bound flyer set to move to France following Rio 2016.

From the Marista club in Mendoza, Müller has been a regular on the HSBC Sevens circuit with his name appearing in the Dream Team on numerous occasions. He first played sevens for Argentina in 2013, the same year in which he played in the World Rugby u20 Championship.

In the France-hosted tournament Müller started on the right wing against Australia, France, and Samoa. He joined a number of now-regular Pumas in the tournament. Among them were Santiago Cordero, Facundo Isa, Guido Petti, Tomás Lavanini, Tomás Lezana, Pablo Matera, Julián Montoya, and Lucas Noguera Paz.

As shown below (in French) Toulon has made an offer to the Los Pumas Sevens star. It states that Toulon has obtained the signature of the 22-year-old Axel Müller for the next two seasons.
