Sagario Returns for Nations Cup

Los Teros Head Coach Esteban Meneses has named a 27-man roster for this month’s World Rugby Nations Cup in Bucharest, Romania.

Uruguay will travel to Eastern Europe on Sunday to play three matches, two of which are capped internationals. On June 08 Los Teros will face Emerging Italy before facing Spain on June 13 and Romania on June 18.

Included in the squad is Mario Sagario. Widely considered as Uruguay’s best forward from Rugby World Cup 2015 Sagario is coming off a successful season playing in the Guinness Pro 12 for Munster.

Notable absentees from the Americas Rugby Championship include hooker Carlos Arboleya and center Joaquín Prada. Also out due to the French club season are Agustín Ormaechea and Felipe Berchesi. Gastón Mieres is missing through injury.
