Chile Name Roster for Argentina XV

Head Coach Sebastián Gajardo has named Chile’s Roster for the Argentina XV. The team’s are to meet on Saturday in Santiago in the final fixture of the 2016 Sudamérica Rugby Cup.

The Argentina XV has already secured the title. They did so last weekend by defeating Uruguay in Colonia del Sacramento while Uruguay downed Chile in their earlier match-up.

The roster named is similar to that which played in the Americas Rugby Championship. The difference being the unavailability of those who play their rugby in France and New Zealand. Also missing are Los Cóndores Sevens players with Chile set to play in Roma and in Monaco, the latter being the repechage qualification tournament for Rio 2016.

Out for Chile through injury is prop Claudio Zamorano who is sidelined with a shoulder injury picked up playing club rugby.

Back to fitness and included is Old Mackayans back-rower Domingo de la Fuente. Having only recently recovered from injury he will have an opportunity against the Argentina XV.
