Rojas Returns to Argentina XV Roster to face Uruguay

The Argentina XV Roster has been named for Saturday’s away international in Colonia del Sacramento. The non-capped fixture will see Uruguay playing host to Argentina’s official ‘A’ side. On the line is the Sudamérica Rugby Cup

The fixture has been moved from the regular home of Los Teros, the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo to the Estadio Alberto Supicci in Colonia del Sacramento. Officiating the match will be Brazil’s top referee Henrique Platais.

Head Coach Pablo Bouza has selected plenty of youth such as 20 year old fly half Tomás Granella, back-rower Santiago Portillo and prop Eduardo Bello.

Notable inclusions are Javier Rojas (pictured) who is back from France and Los Jaguares players Felipe Arregui, Facundo Bosch, Cristian Bartoloni and Joaquín Paz. Also named is Federico Lavanini, the younger brother of Puma Tomás Lavanini.

On the line are potential places in Los Pumas roster for the home June Internationals or a place in the Argentina XV squad to play three matches in Romania as part of the World Rugby Nations Cup.
