MacGinty starts for Connacht in Pro 12 Semi

AJ MacGinty will run out in the no10 shirt for Connacht on Saturday as Glasgow Warriors arrive at the Sportsground in Galway to contest the second Guinness Pro 12 semi-final. The US Eagles flyhalf has enjoyed a fine run of games for the Irish province but will depart for Sale Sharks in the off-season. Canada u20 cap Shane O’Leary will be his backup from the bench.

Connacht finished second on the Pro 12 regular season table, tied with Leinster on points but behind in differential. They face defending champions Glasgow, a side that features an incredible 22 full internationals on the roster with only Scotland u20 prop D’Arcy Rae uncapped at senior level.

The match kicks off at 6:30pm local time (1:30pm ET) and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
