Uruguay is set for a second shot at Fiji. Los Teros will play host to the Fiji Warriors in Montevideo on Saturday in the second of three warm-up matches ahead of the World Rugby Nations Cup in Romania next month.
Uruguay will take-on the Argentina XV on May 28 at the Estadio Supicci in Colonia del Sacramento, directly across the Rio de la Plata from Buenos Aires. That fixture is to be a non-capped international as part of the Sudamérica Rugby Cup featuring the two countries and Chile.
Los Teros are expected to field a strong lineup for the match and they will be doing so tomorrow against the Fiji Warriors.
Head Coach Esteban Meneses has welcomed back players from Old Christians Club who missed out on playing last weekend and in South American A Championship matches against Brazil, Chile and Paraguay.
Selected by Meneses are Uruguay’s top domestic based players. In total twelve of the tweets-three played at Rugby World Cup 2015.
