Argentina XV and Los Pumitas to meet in a Friendly

The Argentina XV and Los Pumitas are to meet in a Friendly on Friday at the Hindú club in Buenos Aires. The purpose of the fixture is to ´repare players and test out options ahead of upcoming international activities.

Los Pumitas are to travel to Manchester England in several weeks to participate in the World Rugby Junior World Championship. The Argentine side will play their opening match on June 07 against France.

The Argentina XV is to play against both Chile and Uruguay in away matches in the Sudamérica Rugby Cup. They fixtures are to take place on Saturday May 28 and Saturday June 04. The matches are to be followed by the World Rugby Nations Cup in Romania with the South Americans facing Spain on June 09, Emerging Italy on June 13 and Romania on June 18.

Involved in the respective rosters are players to have featured in the Americas Rugby Championship. Instances include under 20 hooker Gaspar Baldunciel, second-rower Marcos Kremer. scrum half Lautaro Bazán, fly half Domingo Miotti (pictured) and wingers Bautista Delguy and Martín Elias.

The Argentina XV also includes Americas Rugby Championship players just like it does players to have trained with Los Jaguares and even appeared in Super Rugby. They include props Felipe Arregui and Cristian Bartoloni, second-rower Ignacio Larrague, centers Joaquín Paz and Gabriel Ascárate and fullback Pedro Mercerat. Also included is Federico Lavanini, the younger brother of Pumas second-rower Tomás Lavanini.
