Creevy Handed One Week Ban, to miss Lions

Los Jaguares captain Agustín Creevy has been hit with a one week suspension making him unavailable to play against the Lions on Saturday May 21 in Johannesburg.

Creevy’s suspension is for performing a dangerous tackle in last night’s match against the Sharks on Jean Deysel.  The incident took place in the 31st minute and Creevy accepted fault, putting in a guilty plea.

The judicial officer’s decision means Creevy will be free to play against the Kings in Port Elizabeth on Friday May 27.  With him out of the match against the Lions Facundo Bosch has been called-up.

Also in doubt is Leonardo Senatore who was cited for allegedly bitting Keegan Daniel. If found guilty a lengthily suspension is all but certain.  Juan Manuel Leguizamón is on standby to travel in place of Senatore if required.
