Cortes named to Championship Dream Team

Bristol prop Gastón Cortes has been named to the official Greene King IPA Championship Dream Team for the 2015/16 season. The 30-year-old Argentinean was voted best tighthead in the second level of English professional rugby by opposing coaches and captains

A winner of four test caps for the Pumas, the last coming against Chile in 2012, Cortes joined Bristol from Córdoba Athletic in August of 2012. He has since made 74 appearances for the club including 57 in the Championship. Bristol finished top of the table in the regular season and are favorites to win promotion to the Aviva Premiership for the 2016/17 season.

Cortes signed a new one-year contract with Bristol in June of 2015.
