Guatemala, Panama receive visit from Sudamérica Rugby

In an effort to grow the game Sudamérica Rugby’s Northern Regional Developmental Manager, Alberto Ruiz Luca has been busy visiting Central American countries recently. Following a recent Sudamérica Rugby inspection of El Salvador attention turned to both Guatemala and Panama.

Get Into Rugby administrator, Guillermo Signorelli was in Guatemala to see the World Rugby program installed into the 2015 South American C Championship winning country.

From April 11-17 Sudamérica Rugby organized activities in the country. In addition to strategic meetings Get Into Rugby prepared coaches, players and managers of Guatemala Rugby with the target being boys and girls aged 4-17.

There were also a host of meetings with local managers during the visit to Panama. The country is seeking to achieve full Sudamérica Rugby membership in 2017.
