South American Championship 2016: Brazil vs Uruguay – Full Match

Brazil hosted Uruguay this past Saturday in a fully capped international fixture. The match was a part of the South American A Championship 2016, a four nations competition in which Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay fight for the right to join Argentina in the following year’s Sudamérica Rugby Cup.

In front of 10,000 paying spectators at São Paulo’s Allianz Parque, Uruguay produced some highly impressive rugby, to run Brazil ragged and notch-up a comprehensive win. Brazil did not play badly at all, to the contrary Os Tupis were humbled by a well-prepared team who showed notable improved since the Americas Rugby Championship.
