Imhoff Shortlisted for Best Player in Europe

Argentine flier Juan Imhoff has been shortlisted for the Best Player in Europe award, the European Player of the Year 2016. The Racing 92 winger is joined by clubmate Dan Carter in addition to thirteen others from the teams involved in the Quarter Finals of the European Champions Cup.

The 2014 winner, Steffon Armitage of Toulon, has been nominated again though the chances of him winning the award are minimal following Toulon’s Quarter Final loss to Imhoff’s club.

A specialist panel will judge the nominees and will be aided by supporters. As of today voting for the award winner is open on the following platform: www.finalslyon2016.com.

The EPCR European Player of the Year 2016 will be announced in Lyon, France during next month’s EPCR finals weekend. The Semi Finals are coming up this weekend with matches taking place in the English cities of Reading and Nottingham.
