There’s just two weeks left in the Greene King IPA Championship regular season, and there aren’t many Americas players left standing. Just a half dozen will take part over the course of the weekend, beginning on Friday evening at Ashton Gate where Gastón Cortes is on bench duty for Bristol against Moseley.
The rest of the action is all Canadian. Saturday has Jon Phelan and Doncaster hosting Justin Blanchet and Bedford, while Evan Olmstead is on the bench for London Scottish at Rotherham. Aaron Carpenter returns to captain Cornish Pirates against London Welsh, the team he is set to move to in the off-season. Matt Evans lines up at fullback.
