A new round of the Torneo Clasificatorio Uruguayo was played over the past weekend. Like in round three the team to impress the most was Montevideo side, Carrasco Polo. The club’s 64-10 thumping of Ceibos Rugby continues to put Carrasco Polo on track for a place in the 2016 Campeonato Uruguayo.
Remaining winners from week 4 included Montevideo Cricket Club (MVCC), Trébol and Los Cuervos. All four victorious clubs won in vastly different manners. While Carrasco Polo won handsomely MVCC and Seminario had harder times securing the results and Los Cuervos sealed a one point win in a low scoring fixture.
The fixture between Old Christians and Lobos was postponed while Old Boys had a bye. Both Old Christians and Old Boys were in action in Argentina’s Torneo del Interior B this past weekend.
