Women’s draw for Langford 7s

Canada will face England in the pool stages at the Langford 7s this weekend. The hosts have been drawn in Pool C along with Ireland and Japan. Canada lost the Bronze final to England in Atlanta on the weekend after losing the Cup semi final to eventual champions Australia.

Russia, France, and Brazil will get the first crack at the top seed in Pool A. Brazil joins as this stop’s invitational side, replacing Colombia as South America’s only participant. Runners-up New Zealand, who trail Australia on the overall HSBC Women’s Sevens Series table by 14 points, are grouped with a revitalised USA, Fiji, and Spain.

The tournament kicks off at 11:00 PST on Saturday. All matches will be streamed live by World Rugby.
